AN alleged serial killer charged with the murders of four men yesterday claimed that a friend, a gay waiter nicknamed Jason, had carried out the crimes.
Peter Moore, a cinema owner, named his friend when he gave evidence for the first time during his trial at Mold crown court in North Wales.
The jury has heard that Moore, aged 50, from Kinmel Bay, near Rhyl, had admitted the four stabbings, committed between September and December last year, in a series of interviews with detectives. He mentioned in one of his last interviews that another man had been involved but refused to give his name.
