Abstract
The basic purpose of this comprehensive history of the Nebraska Tax Equity and Educational Opportunities Support Act is to provide a record of the Legislature’s actions relevant to school finance policy since 1990. This study should be used as a reference for policymakers and school officials alike in order to understand the policy evolution of the existing school finance system.
