Abstract
This quantitative randomized control study sought to understand the impact of Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing Integrative Group Treatment Protocol for Ongoing Traumatic Stress -Remote (EMDR-IGTP-OTS-R) on trauma and resilience symptomology in mental health professionals who are living and working in Ukraine. The treatment group reported significant reduction of PTSD symptomology as reported on the PCL-5 at posttest and follow-up as compared to the control group. A significant change in well-being as reported on the WHO5 and SWLS, though not sustained. Resilience as reported on the BRS and WORCS showed no significant difference. Results of this study show EMDR-IGTP-OTS-R protocol may be a beneficial treatment for reduction of PTSD symptomology in those who are living and working in a wartime setting.
