Abstract

Saudi Arabia's Vision 2030 is a transformative roadmap aimed at diversifying its economy and reducing its dependency on oil revenues. This vision seeks to foster a vibrant and sustainable tourism sector as a critical economic growth and a cultural exchange driver. This study undertook a comprehensive analysis to investigate the relationship between the burgeoning tourism industry and achieving Vision 2030's objectives. Among these primary goals was paying attention to, and improving the tourism sector, and resolving the leadership problems facing the Kingdom’s and public institutions' inability to achieve growth in this field. The participatory leadership approach represented the study's independent variable: improving performance and raising awareness indicates combining the correct behavioral skills to achieve the vision's goals and develop the tourism sector. A quantitative research method was used in this study. This included economic diversification, job creation, infrastructure development, and cultural exchange.

As a researcher, an online survey was one of the tools used to collect primary data in this study. Data for the study and participants information collected, were held in strict confidentiality. After analyzing the results, the research highlighted the pivotal role of the tourism sector in realizing the ambitious goals of Vision 2030. The study aimed to offer valuable insights and recommendations for policymakers, industry stakeholders, and international investors to harness the full potential of Saudi Arabia's tourism sector, ensuring its alignment with the overarching vision for a prosperous and culturally enriched future.
