Abstract

If left untreated poor mental health state can negatively impact quality of lives and can lead to deteriorated academic performance, decreased empathy, poor decision-making capabilities, poor quality of life social relationships, alcohol and drug abuse finally suicidal tendencies as discussed earlier. Acute as well as chronic stress causes the elevation in the blood levels of the hormones especially catecholamines and cortisol, leading to various physical and psychological manifestations. [...]the levels of stress affect the quality of life as well as physical and mental health inversely. Ethical approval The data collection was started from April 1, 2022, onward only after getting approval from Ethics Committee for Biomedical Health and Research of the Institution vide reference no. [12] Data collection A written consent in English was taken from each participant twice in each sitting before the examination.
