Abstract

La investigación tuvo como propósito describir la competencia autopercibida docente en estudiantes de Licenciatura y Posgrado en Educación. La muestra de tipo censal estuvo conformada por 226 estudiantes matriculados a una escuela formadora de docentes de un municipio del sur del Estado de Sonora en México. Se aplicó la Escala de Evaluación de la Competencia Autopercibida del Docente en Educación Primaria [ECAD-EP]. Se utilizó JASPv.18 para el análisis de los datos. Como hallazgo principal se destacan puntuaciones consistentemente altas en la competencia autopercibida en estudiantes de Licenciatura y Posgrado, concluyendo que quienes presentan mayor preparación académica tienden a percibirse con niveles de competencia más altos.

The purpose of this research was to describe the self-perceived teaching competence of undergraduate and graduate students in education. The censal sample consisted of 226 students enrolled in a teacher training school in a municipality in the southern part of the State of Sonora in Mexico. The Scale for the Evaluation of the Self-perceived Competence of Teachers in Elementary Education [ECAD-EP] was applied. JASPv.18 was used for data analysis. The main finding is that undergraduate and graduate students have consistently high scores on self-perceived competence, concluding that those with greater academic preparation tend to perceive themselves as having higher levels of competence.
