Sofía Yunes Gamboa is a 43 year old fitness influencer who belongs to a well-known family of politicians in Veracruz and who expressed her repudiation of Marko Cortés in the context of the discussions on the reform of the Judiciary.
This is because Marko Cortés confronted his relative, the former governor of Veracruz, Miguel Ángel Yunes Linares, accusing him of betraying the PAN to vote in favor of the reform promoted by President AMLO.
"It turns my stomach with this gentleman since always" said Sofia Yunes about Marko Cortes, and even expressed her wish for "the PRI leader, Alejandro "Alito" Moreno, to leave".
It is worth remembering that Sofia Yunes initially joined Movimiento Ciudadano despite the fact that her family has traditionally belonged to the National Action Party (PAN) and some to the Institutional Revolutionary Party (PRI).
