Addictions are constituted as a chronic condition characterized by the inability to control a behavior or consumption.
This situation affects the brain and promotes the search for more pleasure, leading to alter the way the person can think, feel or act.
There are two types of addictions: chemical addictions, which are those involving the use of substances, which generate dependence and a constant need for consumption.
These can be ingested, inhaled, injected or smoked, and can cause euphoria, sedation or stimulation. An example of this kind of addiction is alcohol, tobacco and caffeine.
