The IT market in Poland is forecast to decelerate year-on-year in 2025 in local currency terms, with a more significant slowdown forecast in US dollar terms as the rate of zloty appreciation slows. The medium-term outlook is positive because of the flow of digital investments from the private and public sectors that are geared towards the development of the domestic market and related to Poland's position as a leading outsourcing centre in the EU. The launch of locally hosted public regions by Google and Microsoft will be a foundation for accelerated cloud adoption and innovation and serve as a platform for the integration of AI services by the private and public sectors. In addition to innovation in leading-edge AI applications, we envisage a positive contribution through increased software industry capacity that could lower costs and reduce viability hurdles for large software projects. Security and economic risks are still a feature of the outlook, but the core of IT investment flow will be relatively resilient to downside because of its strategic nature and multi-year time horizons.
