Relatório de estágio na Penguin Random House Grupo Editorial

Abstract

O presente relatório tem como objetivo descrever o estágio curricular realizado na Penguin Random House Grupo Editorial entre setembro e dezembro de 2023. Procura detalhar as tarefas desenvolvidas, assim como apresentar os projetos realizados pelo Grupo Editorial nesse mesmo período. A título de exemplo, serão mencionadas diversas revisões internas efetuadas, quer de títulos nacionais, quer de obras traduzidas, bem como múltiplas contraprovas, análises de mercado e até leituras de provas de tradução. Terminará com uma breve reflexão sobre a importância, por parte de cada editora, de conhecer o público que pretende alcançar.

The aim of this report is to describe the internship that took place at Penguin Random House Grupo Editorial between September and December 2023. It seeks to detail the tasks executed, as well as to present the projects carried out by the Publishing Group during this period. By way of example, various internal reviews performed, both of national titles and translated works, will be mentioned, as well as multiple counter-proofs, market analyses and even the reading of translation proofs. It will end with a brief reflection on the importance of each publisher knowing the audience they mean to reach.
