Abstract

The IT market is forecast to strengthen in 2025 in Argentina as economic conditions stabilise following the economic shock therapy policies introduced by President Milei's government in 2024. There is, however, a downside scenario where another steep peso devaluation in 2025 disrupts the economy and leads to lower levels of digital investment. The medium-term IT market outlook is also one of considerable growth potential, but also elevated uncertainty due to economic risks. There was digital underinvestment in Argentina during the acute economic crisis, and if economic conditions can be stabilised there is significant potential for a strong investment trend in data centres, software projects and cloud migrations.
