Abstract

Reseña de Hezbolá, el laberinto de Oriente Medio de Ignacio Gutiérrez de Terán. Esta obra aborda la complejidad de Hezbolá como actor político y militar situando al lector en la antesala de la última invasión israelí del sur del Líbano en otoño de 2024. Se destaca el enfoque de análisis multinivel del autor, que contextualiza al grupo en dinámicas regionales e internacionales, sin descuidar el ámbito nacional marcado por la especificidad libanesa, ni el individual, en el que se atiende a los discursos de las figuras más trascendentales relacionadas con el grupo.

This book addresses the complexity of Hezbollah as a political and military actor, placing the reader in the run-up to the latest Israeli invasion of southern Lebanon in autumn 2024. It highlights the author's multilevel approach to analysis, which contextualises the group in regional and international dynamics, without neglecting the national level, marked by Lebanese specificity, or the individual level, which focuses on the discourses of the most transcendental figures related to the group.
