ANALISE DO IMPACTO E VISIBILIDADE DAS REVISTAS CIENTÍFICAS DA FACULDADE DE LETRAS DA UNIVERSIDADE DO PORTO

Abstract

O estudo analisa as revistas da Faculdade de Letras da Universidade do Porto (FLUP), incidindo sobre 28 revistas ativas, disponíveis na plataforma Digithéke. São sistematizados e examinados diversos fatores, nomeadamente a periodicidade, as políticas de acesso aberto, a revisão por pares e a indexação. É também efetuada uma avaliação exploratória da endogamia e da internacionalização. Os resultados são, em geral, positivos, com as revistas a apresentarem sólidas práticas editoriais, um compromisso com o acesso aberto e a indexação em bases de dados prestigiadas. No entanto, são identificadas oportunidades de melhoria, particularmente no que respeita à disponibilidade e organização da informação sobre as revistas.

The study examines the journals of the Faculty of Arts and Humanities at the University of Porto (FLUP), focusing on 28 active journals available through the Digithéke platform. Various factors, including periodicity, open access policies, peer review, and indexing, are systematised and analysed. An exploratory assessment of endogamy and internationalisation is also conducted. The findings are generally positive, with the journals showing strong editorial practices, a commitment to open access, and indexing in reputable databases. However, opportunities for improvement, particularly in relation to the availability and organisation of information about the journals, are identified.
