Abstract

We hold a robust growth outlook for the UAE IT market over the forecast period to 2028 and beyond. The IT sector is significantly more diverse and developed than most other Gulf Cooperation Council counterparts and benefits from economic diversification, heavy public-private sector capex and non-oil vertical expansion. Heavy investments by global IT giants in cloud and data centres reinforce this growth trajectory, reflecting the high levels of government digitalisation and enterprise modernisation in the country. Heading into 2025, risks are heavily weighted to the downside as the regional security and geopolitical outlook has weakened considerably.
