Abstract

The exponential growth of the far right and populism in the European Union following the Sovereign Debt crisis is a constant concern for democrats and liberals. On the Iberian Peninsula, the two parties of this political faction with parliamentary representation - CHEGA and VOX - compile the typical narratives of this type of rightwing. Since these far-right parties call into question the basic values of this Union - such as Human Rights, Democracy and the Rule of Law - it is imperative and necessary to understand how they attack this political structure through their discourse.
