On Saturday, February 1, 2025, Richard Zoom Scott and April, founders of SOS: Strengthening Our Students kicked off Black History Month in grand fashion with its 12th Annual Celebrity Soup 4 the Soul Fundraiser at the Cleveland Marriott East in Warrensville Heights, Ohio. From 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM, the sold-out event brought together a diverse mix of community members, leaders, educators, media personalities, and every-day citizens united in the spirit of giving, fellowship, and celebration.
The event was proudly sponsored by Tri-C, RPM International, Popeyes Louisiana Kitchen, Dollar Bank, Retina Associates of Cleveland, and Jay Auto Group, among others. Hosting the afternoon festivities was the masterful, gifted and anointed TriC C Dr. Michael Baston, Fox 8 News Weekend Anchor Jennifer Jordan, and WOVU 95.9 FM DJ KRISTYLES; with each bringing their own energy and charm to the occasion.
