Exploration of the Production Method for Converting Textual Stories into Pop Music Albums: A Case Study of the "Life Flow" Album

Abstract

Creation is essential to produce a pop album, the initial stage in the song generation process ,the lyrics that singer sung are composed of words. when these words form a narrative and are disseminated over time, they may be transformed into cultural heritage, shaped collective consciousness, facilitated emotional resonance, served as educational formation, and provided historical record.

Storytelling is the soul of a popular song, shaping its concept, emotion, and connotation, the song made the story feel more real ,now technology lets us create more we never thought possible before , this research will be explored how songs are crafted from stories. Chapter 3 outlines the research methods employed, including textual analysis, songwriting processes, and album production plan. Chapter 4 provides an analysis and interpretation of the album's works, focusing on the sources of inspiration, creative methods, and album production process, we want to provide a system for musicians and producers to create and optimize their workflow.

創作在流行音樂中是重要的一環，可以說是歌曲製作的第一個階段，但創作的方法有很多種，如果有歌手演唱，演唱的詞即是文字構成，而文字可以組合成很多句型，句型再延伸的東西很多，但如果成為故事，經過流傳，可能演變為文化的遺跡、集體意識、情感流動、教育養成、歷史見證等……的中介物。

流行音樂的創作也需要故事，有故事可以在創作時知道，概念的主張、情緒的渲染及創作者的訴求等…反之如果透過音樂的方式呈現故事，可以讓故事更加生動，或是更加有畫面感，古代有詩詞呈現創作能力，而隨著科技進步的當下，我們有了故事的題材更可以去延伸音樂的創作力，本詮釋報告針對文字故事如何轉化為流行音樂專輯製作探討，在第三章敘述研究方法，從文本分析、詞曲創作方法探究到專輯的企劃，並將研究方法如何轉化成音樂專輯作說明，第四章實際製作六首歌曲並穿插採樣故事口白在專輯中，針對故事採樣、創作發想、專輯定位、詞曲創作、音樂製作，對專輯作品進行分析詮釋，希望能幫助音樂創作者或是專輯製作人提供一個創作的方法紀錄，也能有效運用時間將產能最大化。
