A ROMAN Catholic woman who ran down a Protestant teenage cyclist at the height of the Holy Cross primary school dispute in north Belfast was convicted of manslaughter yesterday.
Alison McKeown, 33, a mother of six, was jeered and cursed by relatives of Thomas McDonald, 16, after the verdict was announced by a judge sitting without a jury in Belfast Crown Court.
The court was told that Thomas, 16, threw a half-brick at her car and then rode off on his cycle. She pursued the boy...
