The study is a cultural-historical reconstruction of the participation of the youth in the resistance against the establishment of the rule of the Communist Party in Bulgaria during the first 5 years after 9.9.1944. The main forces, motives and key resources of youth political opposition are outlined. The question of the ideological mobilization and organizational outreach of the youth is addressed. The main types of resistance, also regulated by the dynamics of historical circumstances, are distinguished. The analysis in the study rests primarily on the ideas of Hannah Arendt, through which acts of resistance by youth are explained as political.
