Abstract

The purpose of academic libraries in higher education is the main topic of this paper. India's higher education system is undergoing a massive transformation. India now has more institutions and students than any other system in the globe. After China and the America, it has the third-largest student population in the world for its vast higher education sector. Whole-person development is the aim of education. To attain this level of development, students must take courses in the humanities or literature, computer science, science, and the arts. Modern educational systems are built on the foundation of a well-stocked and well-managed library. The primary tool for gathering and utilizing our intellectual legacy is the library. Only properly equipped libraries can facilitate effective and efficient formal education. This paper discusses.
