SPORT Bang on target: Suruchi and Saurabh celebrate their success. ISSF

Suruchi Singh and Saurabh Chaudhary beat qualification toppers Yao Qianxun and Hu Kai (585) of China 17-9 to clinch the mixed air pistol gold in the World Cup in Lima, Peru, on Wednesday.

The Indian pair, which had shot 580 in qualification, made it to the gold match after being tied on the same score with the other Chinese team, by virtue of its better score of inner 10s — 20x to 17x.
