Abstract

The research included isolating and diagnosing Azotobacter paspali bacteria(A2, A4, A5, A6, A7, A8 )from Radish plants, studying them phenotypically, Biochemically and molecularly using PCR technology, and also testing their effectiveness in dissolving phosphorus and fixation of atmospheric nitrogen. The results of the study of the phenotypic and biochemical characteristics (traditional methods) of the Azotobacter paspali bacteria isolates showed that these characteristics match the characteristics of the Azotobacter SPP. bacteria. The results of the molecular study also showed confirmation of the diagnosis of the Azotobacter paspali bacteria isolates by traditional methods. These bacteria also had a significant effect on dissolving phosphorus and fixing atmospheric nitrogen. the first study of its kind on this bacteria in Iraqis considered very important in the field of biological fertilization of plants and soil in terms of the presence of bacteria that fix nitrogen and dissolve phosphorus at the same time.
