A Menagerie of Losers

Abstract

This product of my imagination is a collection of stories populated by characters who have fallen by the wayside but refuse to accept their place in the gutter. They are the sort of people who were always picked last but found subversive ways to budge into the front of the line, found a path through the thorn bushes that cannot be navigated by strength alone. My stories are both amusing and give hope to anyone who feels like they are left in the trash can of disappointments to accomplishment. My characters are facing ennui, and overcome it with unconventional, creative means. They are not role models, but may give us hope that there are less than obvious ways out of our predicaments, or at the very least, that all of this is funny.
