Género y Logro Académico: Más allá de los Estereotipos.

Abstract

El trabajo tiene como objetivo analizar la relación entre la percepción de logro académico y género. El estudio fue realizado con estudiantes de la Universidad Veracruzana. Se encontró que definen logro como la obtención satisfactoria de una meta cuyo alcance merece reconocimiento y consideran logros a aquellos relacionados al progreso académico y superación personal. La relación entre género y percepción del logro académico es compleja, no se trata solo de diferencias en el rendimiento, sino de cómo las construcciones de género inciden en las expectativas sobre el éxito. La percepción del logro también está influida por los estereotipos. Para reducir estas brechas, es fundamental implementar estrategias que fomenten la equidad de género en la educación, promoviendo modelos de referencia diversos.
