Background Cerebral Venous Thrombosis(CVT) is rare manifestation of Cerebrovascular Disease. inflammation is predisposing and exacerbating factor for CVT onset and development. Inflammatory parameters are also altered in CVT, Elevated inflammatory parameters can reflect the severity and predict CVT. In this study we aimed to evaluate the CRP, NLR and PLR levels as inflammatory markers in CVT patients and to corelate the association of ratios and assess it's severity Methods Prospective observational study was conducted at Department of General Medicine, KR Hospital, MMC&RI during the study period from June 2024 to November 2024 among 34 patients admitted to department. Complete history was taken and physical examination was done. Laboratory parameters were assessed. SPSS© for windows™ Vs 27, IBM™ Corp NY and Microsoft excel™ 2021 professional, Microsoft® Inc USA was used perform the statistical analysis. Results The mean age of the patients included in our study population 41.03 (12.99) minimum age is 21 years and maximum age are 74 years. The mean NLR of the patients included in our study population 8.22 (5.19) minimum NLR is 2.05 and NLR counts are 24.70. The mean PLR of the patients included in our study population 316.5 (242.25) minimum PLR is 55.3 and maximum PLR are 1253. The mean CRP level of the patients included in our study population 19.57 (14.08) minimum PLR is 3 and maximum PLR are 60. NIHSS Score and NLR are strongly positively correlated as the correlation coefficient value is 0.719. They are statistically strongly positively correlated NIHSS Score and PLR are strongly positively correlated as the correlation coefficient value is 0.755. They are statistically strongly positively correlated. NIHSS Score and CRP level are strongly positively correlated as the correlation coefficient value is 0.592 showing an uphill pattern. Majority of cases are in severe that is 35.3% of the study followed with minor severity that is 32.4%, 20.6% cases are lies in moderate and the minimum cases are in moderately severe that is 11.8% of the study. Conclusion The neutrophil-to-lymphocyte, platelet-to-lymphocyte ratios and CRP can be used as markers of CVT and predict the severity of disease in these patients .
