Abstract

Aquesta tesi va ser motivada per l’article del doctor Josep Hernando Delgado Conversos i jueus: cohesió i solidaritat. Necessitat d’una recerca. En aquest article el doctor Josep Hernando ens mostra la importància que té per a la historiografia catalana el conèixer com era la societat jueva conversa i quin paper tenia dins de la societat del moment. 

El present treball té com objectiu principal estudiar en profunditat el grup social del conversos de Barcelona des de tots els aspectes: socials, econòmics, professionals, familiars, religiosos, així com la seva relació entre ells i la resta de la societat.

This thesis was motivated by the article by Dr. Josep Hernando Delgado Conversos i jueus: cohesion and solidarity. Necessity of a research. In this article Dr. Josep Hernando shows us the importance for Catalan historiography of knowing what the Converso Jewish society was like and what role it had within the society of the time.

The main objective of this work is to study in depth the social group of the conversos of Barcelona from all aspects: social, economic, professional, family, religious, as well as their relationship between them and the rest of society.
