The article evaluates and examines the participation of a group of exiled Spanish Republican military officers, known as "Hispanosovietics," in the technical-military assistance provided to the Cuban Revolution between 1960 and 1962. Focusing on the figures of Ramón Soliva and Francisco Ciutat, it explores their role in the professionalization of the Revolutionary Armed Forces (FAR) and the consolidation of the new Cuban regime, highlighting how their contribution was crucial to the military reorganization and defense of Cuba during key events such as the Bay of Pigs invasión, the Missile Crisis and the called "Fight Against Bandits". Additionally, the study assesses the impact of these agents on the construction of a revolutionary army with social and political functions, leaving a legacy that transcends the Cold War.
