PARENTS were warned last night to make their children leave Pokemon cards at home after two boys were robbed of their collection at knifepoint.
Detectives said the robbery represents a shocking sign of how the playground craze from Japan has now hit fever pitch.
The 10-year-old boys were left terrified after one of their attackers brandished a penknife and demanded their prized collection of 54 cards.
They included very rare cards some are only issued in limited qualities and were worth a staggering 200.
Detective Sergeant Ady Wys said the boys were crossing a footbridge in Swindon, Wiltshire, when they were approached by two teenagers.
