Estructura familiar y agresividad en adolescentes españoles

Abstract

Abstract The family has undergone a profound transformation in recent decades, both in its structure and in its functions. The aim of this study was to analyze the relationship between family structure and aggression -understood as a personality trait or tendency to act violently- in Spanish adolescents. A total of 1196 adolescents, aged 14 to 18 years (M=16.2; SD=1.3), 50% female, from 23 non-university educational centers, 10 university degrees and 18 juvenile centers -attending adolescents with family or behavioural problems- in Castilla y Leon (Spain) participated in the study. Sin embargo, las nuevas configuraciones familiares tienen un origen diferente (Kroese et al., 2021): divorcio, separación, cambio de pareja, deseo de paternidad en solitario o en parejas no heterosexuales, adopción, etc., lo cual genera estructuras y dinámicas familiares más diversas, complejas y vulnerables (Castro & Seiz, 2014; Nilsen et al., 2020), que en muchos casos han hecho más tenues los vínculos existentes entre el menor y otros miembros de la familia (King et al., 2018).
