METAL bars smashed over heads and swordfights are not what you might expect to see during your lunch hour in Brindleyplace.
But that is what the gathered masses were treated to as the world-famous Shaolin Monks arrived in Birmingham ahead of their Wheel Of Life show at Symphony Hall next month.
Eight monks from the Shaolin temple, in the Chinese province of Henan, displayed their martial arts prowess and power of the mind as a taster of their UK tour.
