Reflexiones en torno del fotoperiodismo y la transición democrática en Argentina

Abstract

Este artículo analiza el papel del fotoperiodismo en la transición democrática argentina, centrándose en los trabajos de Eduardo Gil y Eduardo Longoni. A través del registro del “Siluetazo” y la cobertura del copamiento de La Tablada, se examina cómo la fotografía documenta y resignifica los eventos históricos, actuando como testimonio y herramienta política. Se discute la evolución del concepto de verdad en la imagen fotográfica y su crisis en la era digital. Finalmente, se plantea el desafío actual del fotoperiodismo en tiempos de desinformación, inteligencia artificial y transformación de los discursos sobre memoria y derechos humanos.

The study discusses the evolution of truth in photographic images and its crisis in the digital era. Finally, it addresses the contemporary challenges of photojournalism in times of misinformation, artificial intelligence, and shifting discourses on memory and human rights.
