This study focuses on the construction of the learner-centered teaching college English teaching mode under big data technology. Traditional college English teaching has issues, such as standardized teaching ignoring individual differences and lagging feedback. However, the development of big data technology offers opportunities for teaching reform. As shown through a comparative experimental verification of parallel classes of non-English majors in the class of 2022 at a certain university, this teaching mode had significant advantages in improving students' academic performance, optimizing learning behaviors, enhancing the use of learning strategies, and changing emotional attitudes. The study provided empirical evidence and a direction for the reform of college English teaching.
