Abstract

Sill, Life Goes On is an interactive kinetic installation that reflects on the subtle rhythms of life—the way even moments of uncertainty, tension, or imbalance eventually pass. At its center is a spinning wheel, quietly turning like time itself, reminding us that life is not a series of perfect points, but a continuous thread. Above it, a 3D-printed moth gently flutters—not aimlessly, but in quiet alignment with its instinct, as if responding to an inner pull rather than outside forces.

This work emerged from a personal realization: that taking things too seriously often made me hesitate, and made me miss the very moment I was in. But when I started letting go—approaching things lightly, even clumsily—I discovered the beauty of movement itself. Through repetition, restraint, and soft motion, the piece encourages viewers not to cling too tightly to any one moment. To trust instinct. To keep going. To be brave, but not heavy.
