With the increasing exchanges between China and South Korea in economic and cultural fields, Korean language education has gained significant importance in Chinese universities. Multimedia technology, as an integral part of modern teaching, has transformed traditional teaching methods, offering new opportunities for language education. However, the application of multimedia in Korean teaching still faces challenges. In this study, the authors examine the integration of multimedia technology and task-based teaching methods in Korean reading instruction. By constructing a multimedia teaching database and applying data mining techniques, the authors aim to optimize teaching resources and improve learning efficiency. The findings show that combining multimedia and task-based approaches significantly enhances student engagement and teaching effectiveness, offering a valuable model for future language education research.
