LOCAL twins Chloe and Zoe TempestJones will make their TV debuts in a bittersweet comedy called DOUBLE ACT (Tomorrow, Channel 4, 5pm).
It's also the first featurelength drama from Birmingham independent company Television Junction, based on Gas Street opposite Carlton.
They cast their net nationwide for the right youngsters before settling on Chloe and Zoe from nearby Cotteridge.
Based on a novel by acclaimed children's author Jacqueline Wilson, the 13-year-old Kings Norton Girls' School pupils will play the lead roles of Ruby and Garnet. Dismayed at the prospect of moving to the country to open a bookshop with Dad's new partner Rose, they plot to change things...
