Abstract

This paper examines the latest advancements in mechatronics and their significant impact on the design and realism of animatronics in modern cinema. By combining mechanical engineering, electronics, and computer science, mechatronics has enabled smoother character movements and enhanced the complexity of animatronic behaviors, thereby pushing the boundaries of cinematic realism. The intricate integration of system components has been explored to show how these advancements foster greater complexity and cohesion, which are crucial for achieving unprecedented levels of realism. Through in-depth case studies of iconic movie characters, the practical applications of these advanced mechatronic solutions in creating compelling and lifelike cinematic experiences are discussed. The Findings bridge the gap between the technical aspects of mechatronics and the creative demands of the film industry, contributing to the ongoing evolution of cinematic realism.
