Abstract

The first part shows how social work substitutes anthropological knowledge and how this experience encouraged training in anthropology. Next, the discussion focuses on the character of Villavicencio's fieldwork as a technology of knowledge built upon practitioners' social experience following a series of protocols of scientific objectivity together with a research agenda.
