Abstract

[...]Jacob Klein's study of mathematics in Ancient Greece is a turning point in Gadamer's work. Following Gadamer's reception of this structure, he succeeds in integrating mathematics into Plato, thereby even increasing the value previously accorded to rhetoric and ethics.
