Abstract
Virtual reality (VR) technology provides innovative solutions for English listening and speaking education by overcoming traditional teaching limitations in contextual simulations through real-time feedback and interactive engagement. This study developed a task-oriented VR module with interactive feedback mechanisms to explore learners' comprehension, oral performance, and motivation. Results show VR-enhanced teaching significantly boosts classroom interactivity, language application proficiency, and learner confidence. While recognizing technical barriers like hardware requirements and pedagogical adaptation challenges, the research puts forward optimization strategies. It offers theoretical and practical frameworks to drive educational technology innovation in language pedagogy, highlighting VR's potential to transform language learning experiences.
