Abstract

In 1562, the Morales sisters, beatas from Aguilar de la Frontera (Córdoba), received a donation intended to finance the foundation of a beaterio or convent. [...]her relatives prevented its foundation by redirecting the assets to the establishment of a chaplaincy. In a 1584 inventory of the Morales sisters' possessions, a collection of books is recorded.
