Abstract

Este estudio desarrolló y validó psicométricamente una escala de percepción de éxito académico en línea en estudiantes de bachillerato tecnológico de Baja California durante COVID-19. El análisis de regresión múltiple identificó predictores que explicaron la varianza en motivación académica: percepción de utilidad del aprendizaje, éxito académico personal percibido, interés en actividades académicas, compromiso docente percibido y preparación laboral percibida. El modelo de ecuaciones estructurales confirmó tres predictores claves: utilidad percibida, interés académico y compromiso docente. Los hallazgos proporcionan evidencia empírica para diseñar intervenciones educativas virtuales efectivas, priorizando la relevancia práctica del aprendizaje y el acompañamiento docente en contextos de educación media superior. La investigación ofrece un marco conceptual sólido para comprender los factores motivacionales en entornos virtuales de emergencia.

This study developed and psychometrically validated a scale of perceived online academic success among high school students in Baja California during COVID-19. Multiple regression analysis identified predictors that explained the variance in academic motivation: perceived usefulness of learning, perceived personal academic success, interest in academic activities, perceived teacher engagement, and perceived job readiness. Structural equation modeling confirmed three key predictors: perceived usefulness, academic interest, and teacher engagement. The findings provide empirical evidence for designing effective virtual educational interventions, prioritizing the practical relevance of learning and teacher support in upper secondary education contexts. The research offers a solid conceptual framework for understanding motivational factors in emergency virtual environments.
