This dissertation presents my piece Codex for acoustic string quartet (2024) and my remix of Codex for electronics (2025). I have provided an accompanying commentary which describes my sonic, theoretical, and visual influences for each movement and describes how my perspective evolved between the acoustic and electronic versions of the work.
