Ανάπτυξη διαδικτυακής εφαρμογής «Κοινωνικό Δίκτυο για την Ψυχική Υγεία» με χρήση SpringBoot backend και Angular frontend

Abstract

Social media applications have succeeded in bringing together many people from different backgrounds around a common interest or problem. This study focuses on the development of a web application "Social Network for Mental Health".

The Social Network for Mental Health intends to provide an online safe and supportive space where people experiencing issues with their mental health can share experiences, find support from experts and access useful information that enhances their mental wellbeing.

The app allows users to create and participate in groups, create posts per group, comment on posts, and react to posts and comments with a Like. It also allows experts to offer their expertise on posts, offer information as well as contact lines to users. The posts and comments of experts are presented in a separate way.

For the security of users, functions such as reporting posts and comments, hiding user data by default.

The application was implemented with MariaDB database, SpringBoot Framework with Java for the backend and Angular with TypeScript for the frontend.
