Significados y experiencias sobre la integridad en las iglesias de la Alianza Cristiana y Misionera del Paraguay desde la perspectiva del líder ministerial

Abstract

El problema de la falta de integridad abarca distintos ámbitos de la vida de los líderes ministeriales. Esta investigación tuvo como propósito general dar a conocer el significado que tiene la integridad en los líderes ministeriales, según su experiencia. Se profundizó en el liderazgo de la Alianza Cristiana y Misionera del Paraguay en las dimensiones: Personal, familiar, institucional, ministerial y nacional. El presente estudio buscó conocer el nivel de importancia que se le adjudica en nuestras comunidades al concepto de integridad, y cómo se integra el mismo en el quehacer ministerial de nuestros líderes. Se exploró la falta de madurez en las diferentes áreas del comportamiento del líder. Así mismo se buscó comprender el fenómeno de la integridad. Para lo anterior se usó un modelo cualitativo, e inductivo con un diseño fenomenológico. Los datos se recopilaron a través de entrevistas semiestructuradas con una muestra de diez líderes de las iglesias Alianza Cristiana y Misionera (ACyM) de la Gran Asunción. Para el análisis de las entrevistas se siguió el modelo DAI y se utilizó el programado Atlas.Ti (Describir, Analizar e Interpretar). Las edades de los participantes oscilaron entre 35 a 65 años de ambos géneros. Su preparación académica es la del Instituto Ministerial Alianza Paraguaya (IMAP). Los datos obtenidos apuntan a la importancia que los participantes le adjudican a la ética, la moral y los valores. Estos lo ven como un asunto esencial, y lo atan a su fe. Por ello, se levanta la categoría Temor, como un elemento preventivo hacia la falta de integridad. A su vez, resaltan el papel prominente de la iglesia local y de IMAP, para el desarrollo de carácter y valores en sus vidas.

The problem of the lack of integrity encompasses various aspects of the lives of ministerial leaders. This research aimed to reveal the significance of integrity in ministerial leaders, according to their experience. The leadership of the Christian and Missionary Alliance of Paraguay was explored in depth in the dimensions: Personal, Family, Institutional, Ministerial, and National. The present study sought to understand the level of importance attributed to the concept of integrity in our communities, and how it is integrated into the ministerial work of our leaders. The lack of maturity in the different areas of the leader's behavior was explored. Likewise, an effort was made to understand the phenomenon of integrity. For the above, a qualitative and inductive model with a phenomenological design was used. The data were collected through semi-structured interviews with a sample of ten leaders from the Christian and Missionary Alliance (CMA) churches in Greater Asunción. The analysis of the interviews followed the DAI model and used the Atlas.Ti (Describe, Analyze and Interpret) program. The ages of the participants ranged from 35 to 65 years of both genders. Their academic preparation is from the Instituto Ministerial Alianza Paraguaya (IMAP). The obtained data point to the importance that the participants attribute to ethics, morality, and values. They see it as an essential matter and tie it to their faith. Therefore, the category of Fear is raised as a preventive element against the lack of integrity. At the same time, they highlight the prominent role of the local church and the IMAP in the development of character and values in their lives.
