LESLIE Cheung Kwok-Wing was a forerunner in pushing the boundaries in gender, cinema and music, and a rare artiste who excelled in both his acting and singing careers.
Born in Hong Kong on Sept 12, 1956, the youthful looking heart- throb was the youngest of 10 children.
He was exposed to the entertainment world at a young age - his father was a tailor who made suits for celebrities such as William Holden and director Alfred Hitchcock.
