Abstract

This paper considers, proposes and describes possibilities and ways of design, implementation and application of microcomputer embedded systems with NFC interface for persons registration and identification. Very often there is a need to register, record, and identify various types of users, clients, or participants of certain systems, services or events. Embedded microprocessor systems using NFC technology are very suitable, efficient and economical for such applications. In the paper it is proposed to use open type hardware and software platforms and technologies for design and implementation of such kind of systems. Here are described the main possibilities, characteristics and advantages of such implementation and application of the systems. It is proposed, presented and described one practically designed and implemented system that performs persons registration, record and identification using the NFC technology and the NFC tags and person mobile smartphone. Technologies used to realize the system as well as embedded applications of such solution are considered and described. Using open type microcomputer board, NFC sensors, computer and Internet network and servers, the system hardware was designed and implemented. Using open type tools and programs and Ubuntu version of the Linux operating system, the system software was implemented.
