MICROSOFT is wooing Internet companies in the United Kingdom with a special club for them to join, promising business advantages and bonuses - as long as they agree to use Microsoft software.
The Internet Service Network (ISN), as it is called, is aimed at the UK's 2,000-strong collection of small and medium-sized companies operating as Internet service providers (ISPs) and web hosts.
Membership is free to any ISP currently providing web hosting or access services in the UK, as long as it agrees to host at least one web site on Microsoft Windows NT server and Microsoft Internet information server.
