Sobre a Fadiga da Imagem Artística

Abstract

“Sobre a Fadiga da Imagem Artística” reflete, de uma forma (pensamos, predominantemente) prática, sobre os problemas do excesso de imagem na contemporaneidade Ocidental, que afeta, sem dúvida, o interesse e a atração pelo objeto de Arte, revelando-se como causa de indiferença no observador-leigo em questões relacionadas com a produção artística. Esta indiferença talvez possa encontrar uma justificação na complexidade da produção plástica atual, na dificuldade em se distinguir a sua genuinidade e no meio que, de alguma maneira, a apropriou para um círculo restrito, enfraquecendo-a. Talvez, não temos a certeza, ainda possa ser possível uma redenção se ampliarmos o campo conceptual da análise da obra artística contemporânea com o trabalho da Estética.

"Sobre a Fadiga da Imagem Artística" reflects, from a (mainly, in our opinion) practical point of view, on the problems of the excess of image in the contemporary Western world, which undoubtedly affects the interest and attractiveness of the art object and is the cause of the indifference of the casual passer-by in relation to artistic production. A justification for this indifference can be found in the complexity of the current artistic production, in the difficulty of recognizing its authenticity and in its environment that has somehow drawn it into a restrictive circle, weakening it. Perhaps, although we are not sure, it is still possible to have a redemption if we widen the conceptual scope of the analysis of the contemporary art object to include the work of Aesthetics.
