Abstract

El propósito fue describir la actitud del docente universitario ante los delitos informáticos en la investigación, en el contexto venezolano. Se empleó un enfoque cualitativo, de tipo descriptivo y diseño documental. Los resultados evidencian que muchos docentes investigadores desconocen o subestiman los delitos informáticos, especialmente en relación con los derechos de autor y la propiedad intelectual. Se concluye la necesidad de promover una actitud ética y consciente en la formación tecnológica, reconociendo la importancia de prevenir prácticas indebidas en la investigación académica.

Alternate abstract:

The purpose was to describe the attitude of university professors towards computer crimes in research in the Venezuelan context. A qualitative, descriptive and documentary design approach was used. The results show that many professors-researchers are unaware of or underestimate computer crimes, especially in relation to copyright and intellectual property. We come to the conclusion that there is a need to promote an ethical and conscientious attitude in technological education, recognizing the importance of preventing improper practices in academic research.
