Nietzsche y la leyenda del gran inquisidor

Abstract

En el presente trabajo se analiza La leyenda del Gran Inquisidor, relato que forma parte de la obra de Dostoievski Los hermanos Karamázov, en relación con la figura del sacerdote ascético desarrollada por Nietzsche en la Genealogía de la moral. La tesis central a defender sostiene que ambas figuras encarnan la idea nietzscheana de voluntad de poder y que, por lo tanto, es correcto afirmar que el Gran Inquisidor es un precursor de la figura nietzscheana del sacerdote ascético, y que ambos pretenden fundar un régimen de corte totalitario que puede ser descrito como un “cristianismo sin Cristo”.

This paper analyses The Legend of the Grand Inquisitor, a story that forms part of Dostoevsky's work The Brothers Karamazov, in relation to the figure of the ascetic priest developed by Nietzsche in Genealogy of Morals. The central thesis to be defended maintains that both figures embody the Nietzschean idea of ​​the will to power and that, therefore, it is correct to affirm that the Grand Inquisitor is a precursor of the Nietzschean figure of the ascetic priest, and that both seek to found a totalitarian regime that can be described as a "Christianity without Christ."
